| Aftercare Program We extend to
our families and community our support with a continuing program to help our friends deal
with their loss. Grief can be very painful and can be very difficult to deal with, and
therefore, we feel the need to offer grief materials and support activities.
Our bereavement
counselor, Ida Sue Webster Westerman has been caring for our families for the past six
years. Ida Sue, born in Nashville, Tennessee, moved to Dickson County at the age of 13.
She is the daughter of the late Vernon and Grace Webster. She is the wife of Roger Lee
Westerman and the mother of Neal and Mark. She is also a grandmother of five.
A graduate of Charlotte High School, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary
Education and a Masters of Arts in Counseling and Psychology. She also holds an Education
Specialist degree in School Psychology. Ida Sue is presently licensed as a Professional
Counselor and a Licensed Psychological Examiner.
Ida Sue retired from the Dickson County Board of Education as a classroom teacher,
social worker, counselor, and school psychologist. She also has worked with the state of
Tennessee as a career ladder evaluator.
With her experience and qualifications, Ida Sue and Taylor Funeral Home are committed
to provide guidance and support through life-changing events for our friends and
