   Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 11, 2015 at 12 Noon from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Overton officiating and Pastor Reginald Ward delivering the eulogy. Place of rest will be in the East Dickson Cemetery. Masonic Services will be conducted, the time to be announced.
   Visitation with his family will be Thursday evening, December 10th from 4:00 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
   Those desiring, Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the Bowman Chapel United Methodist Church.
   Mr. Turner, age 74, of Dickson,TN died December 6, 2015 at Horizon Medical Center.
   He was born in Dickson County, son of the late Willie Cliff and Edna Frances Louise Beck Turner. A graduate of Hampton High School, class of 1959.  Later he attended Tennessee State University in Nashville,TN as well as West Kentucky Vocational Technical Training School where he met his wife, Ora. He was a former foreman for 20 years  with the former Schrader's Automotive upon its closing he pursued careers with  worked with LexaLite, Nashville Plastics and retired from Loomis Fargo. He was a Mason and member of the Rising Sun Lodge #49.  Mr. Turner was married to the former Ora Pipes for 52 years and a longtime member of the Bowman Chapel United Methodist Church where he enjoyed driving the church van. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
   Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Ora Turner of Dickson,TN; His son, Cory (Kimberly) Turner; His daughter, Carmen (Juan) Turner Knight;; sister, Reverend Kamalita (James) Darby, Sisters-in-law, Patricia Pipes, Carole Frizzell, Evelyn (Sandy) Bell, and his Six grandchildren, Kody Turner, Kandess Turner, Janiah Knight, Jada Knight, Juan Knight, Jr., Jasmine Payne, his great grandchild, Aaralyn Faith  Knight; special cousins, Marjorie (Donnie) Dobbins, Sharon Bell and special friend Robert Hannah. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Boyd.
   A special thanks from the Turner family to the Bowman Chapel Family, Pastor and Sister Ward, Dr. Yu and the staff of the Dickson Dialysis Clinic, Tri-Star Medical Center physicians, ER and ICU staff. You kindness and love will never be forgotten.
