DUE TO THE INCLEMENT WEATHER FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE POSTPONED FOR FRIDAY  AND WILL RESCHEDULE.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning, January 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Thomas and Bro. Wayne Bess officiating. Place of rest will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sylvia,TN. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 21st from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
   Those desiring, memorials may be made to the Dickson County Help Center.
   Mrs. Edwards, age 94, of Dickson,TN died suddenly January 19, 2016 at Horizon Medical Center.
   She was born in Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Edgar and Ethel Baggett.  A seamstress by trade, Mrs. Edwards  was a retired machine operator with the former H.I.S. in Dickson,TN.  After retirement she sewed for many people, doing alterations, making wedding dresses and whatever they wanted her to make.  In her early years, she gardened by necessity putting food away for her family for future use. She knew what hard work was, being a young widow and working publicly. Her home was the family gathering place for many years, being one of 10 children, she was the organizer of family reunions and get togethers. She loved her family dearly and has had a full and rich  life.  She was preceded in death by her three husbands, Mr. Ardell Wilson Outlaw, Mr. Cecil Peeler and Mr. Cordie Edwards and by a daughter, Bonnie Welker and 6 brothers and sisters. A very special recognition to Wanda Sensing for being such a faithful and kind caregiver, your love for our Mother  is very much appreciated and will never be forgotten.
   She is survived by her children, Sharon Booker and her husband, Paul of Nashville,TN, Betty Carver and her husband, Duncan of Knoxville,TN and Danny Outlaw and his wife, Vicki of Sylvia,TN; her 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren; her brother, Bro. Bob Baggett of Dickson,TN; her sisters, Ruth Bess of Goodlettsville,TN and June Baskins of Dickson,TN; many nieces and nephews.
   Active casket bearers will be; Dale Outlaw, Wade Outlaw, Hallis Lowe, Jeff Cook, Chris Booker and Bobby Welker.
