   Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 12 Noon from the Dickson First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steven Lee officiating with friends giving eulogies. Visitation with his family will be Friday, January 29th at Taylor Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
   In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Christian Life Center of the Dickson First United Methodist Church.
   Bill, age 41,  of Dickson,TN died suddenly Tuesday evening, January 26, 2016 at Tri-Star Natchez ER.
   Born in Bainbridge, Georgia, Bill spent  most of his childhood years in Miami, Florida, Bill moved to Cannon County Tennessee in Middle School. After graduation from Cannon County High School, Bill began his post-secondary education at UT Martin. In 1990 he earned a BS in Ag Business from UT Knoxville. During his time at UT Martin he met his wife, Patricia Mayes Terry, to whom he has been married 18 years. They have two sons, Harrison Michael, 13 and Andrew John, 9.
   Professioanlly he spent 15 years in construction/building sales. In 2012, he followed a lifelong dream and passion for the outdoors by becoming Vice President of Orca Coolers. He enjoyed much success with Orca over the past three years.
   As an avid fisherman he and his sons participated in fishing tournaments throughout the South. He shared his talent with many including sponsoring fund raisers for the DCHS Fishing Team and Wounded Warriors. Additionally, family, friends, and colleagues reaped the benefits of his gardening and culinary expertise.
   As a faithful servant and member of the Dickson First United Methodist Church, he served on numerous committees, sang in the Sanctuary Choir, and most recently served as Chairperson of the Christian Life Center Building Team.
   His son, Harrison, best remembers his Dad as a "Go Getter",  "Anything that came to his mind to do, he would never give up until it was done", his "Love for God" and his "Smile".
   In addition to his wife and sons, he is survived by his father Harold Terry and his wife, Gerry of Green Cove Springs,FL, mother Lillian Terry Penn of Hampshire, TN, sisters Jennie Terry of Hampshire, TN and Wendy Schoonmaker and her husband, Todd of Dickson, TN, brother Michael Terry of Bloomfield, Connecticut, in -laws Hu and Sharon Mayes of Dickson,TN, brother-in-law Jim Mayes and his wife Teresa of Franklin,TN and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
   Bill was proud to be registered Organ Donor and through his end of life donation will be touching the lives of more than 100 individuals and their families. For more information visit https://donatelifetn.org.
