 TO EVERY THING THERE IS A SEASON, AND A TIME TO EVERY PURPOSE UNDER HEAVEN;
   Funeral services and celebration of life will be conducted Saturday afternoon, April 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from the Walnut Street Church of Christ in Dickson,TN.  Bro. John Vaughn and Bro. Bobby Speight officiating. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery.
   There are two visitations planned. The first will be at his beloved church, Water Street Church of Christ in Charlotte,TN on Friday, April 1, 2016 beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The second will be Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Walnut Street Church of Christ beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
   Robert, longtime minister of the Gospel, died peacefully March 30, 2016 at Horzon Medical Center.
   Robert served the Water Street Church of Christ for 49 years.  His love for his church and the love his church had for him represented his longevity at the church.
   A lifelong resident of Dickson County, he was the son of the late William Thomas and Lottie Spann Cullom. He was preceded in death by a sister, Glenda Sue Leffew.  Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a graduate of Charlotte High School, Class of 1956, and attended David Lipscomb College.  Robert loved his beloved Charlotte,TN and Dickson County and served his community in many ways.  He was a former chairman of the Foster Care  Review Board of Dickson County, serving with  a passion to protect the welfare of the many children that came to them. He was a former board member of the Dickson County School Board, also serving his community in the Red Cross, Cancer Society and Big Brothers.
   Robert had a passion for antiques. He loved antique furniture, beautiful lamps and glassware. Antique furniture wasn't just a piece of furniture...to him ...it was history.....it was something that once was cherished by someone else  and it contained a story.  He had a great knowledge of the value of antiques. Robert was always willing to share his knowledge and love of antiques.
   He was a people person and was never intimidated by anyone.  He never met a stranger.  Robert had the ability to make people feel special and needed.  His faith was strong and went way outside the circles of the Churches of Christ. He was a respector of persons and faiths.
   Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Kathryn Petty Cullom of Charlotte,TN; his son, John Cullom and his wife, Dayna of Dickson,TN; his grandchildren, Blake, Zane, Olivia Riley and Boone; his sister, Lucy Faye Fox and her husband, Buddy of Hendersonville,TN.
  A TIME TO LOVE, AND A TIME TO HATE, A TIME OF WAR, AND A TIME OF PEACE.
