Trudy , age 42 of Charlotte, TN died Tuesday July 19, 2016. Born in Lincolnshire, England she was the daughter of the late Debbie White. Trudy worked in Customer Service at Tennsco.
She was a member of the Renaissance Players and was very active in the plays at the Renaissance Center.  Her personality and her laugh made you notice her in a crowded room. She had such a great talent on the stage. Perhaps you knew her simply as Trudy and as a great friend or maybe you knew her from a distance  on the stage as Madame Arcotti in Blithe Spirit,  Piper in Shrek or Mrs. Mops in Christmas Carol the Musical, or could it be Miss Brill in Cheaper by the Dozen...you could have recognized her as the nun in the Sound of Music...you could have seen Trudy in Oliver as Widow Corney. or even maybe it was in Cinderella or Mayor of Munchkin Land in the Wizard of Oz......Trudy was bigger than life....she had the talent to portray many many  characters and personalities and  still be herself as you knew her as Trudy.  She had joy in her heart and had a contagious smile that could easily capture your heart. She loved life and loved to have fun....especially with her mischievous side...she could always be up to something.  Her acting friends always said that it was fun to share the stage with her.  Being so active in the local stage, she was in many other plays Fiddler on the Roof, yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus, Charlotte's Web,  and many more. Trudy will be missed greatly in the arts community.
"ALL THE WORLD IS A STAGE, AND ALL THE MEN AND WOMEN MERELY PLAYERS." William Shakespeare
"DEATH IS JUST THE LAST SCENE OF THE LAST ACT." Joyce Carol Oates
Trudy rest in peace and enjoy that Heavenly Stage.
Survivors include her husband, Tom Whiting of Charlotte, TN; father and mother-in-law, Terry and Sharon Whiting of Charlotte, TN; brother-in-law, Tim Whiting (Anna) of Allentown, PA; nieces, Noel Ragsdale (Wally) and Lauren Whiting; great nephews, Rowan and Landon Ragsdale; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
