    Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon, August 26, 2016  at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Cliett Goodpasture and Bro. Johnny Mitchell, ministers. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Friday beginning at 12 noon until time of service.
    Those desiring, memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the National Wild Turkey Federation.
    Mr. Myers, age 84, of Dickson,TN died August 23, 2016 at Dickson Health and Rehab after a short stay.
    He was born in Grundy County, (Tracy City, Tennessee) son of the late Claude and Argie Ingram Myers.  He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U. S. Navy.  He was a game warden for over 30 years and after retirement he worked at the Sportsman Store in Dickson. He was of the Methodist faith.
    An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting deer, turkey and any creature huntable. He loved spending time on the water fishing. Bernard loved nature and all of God's beauty.   He enjoyed in his spare time spelunking,  primitive camping, and hiking.  In the years past he taught hunter safety classes and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the out of doors to others. As a popa to his grandchildren, he taught them to turkey hunt and to call turkeys up and  was instrumental in the relocation program of turkeys to Dickson County.
   He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ann Huntington Myers of Dickson,TN, his daughter, Missy Myers Sullivan of Dickson,TN, his three grandchildren, Dawn Cocke Rogers, Will Sullivan and Josh Sullivan, his brother, John K. (Buster) Myers and his wife, Billie Faye of Tracy City, TN and his sister, Helen Myers Kirk of Manchester, TN. He was preceded in death by a brother, James C. Myers and a sister Doris Crawford.
   Casket bearers will be Sam Myers, Joe Crawford, Robert Rogers, Josh Sullivan, Joey Sullivan and Millard Patterson.
