Funeral services will be Saturday January 21, 2017 at 2 PM at the Worley Furnace Baptist Church with Pastor Tony Ward Eulogist. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Friday January 20th from 5 to 8 PM at Taylor Funeral Home and on Saturday from 1 PM until time of service at the church.
Delmar Ray Kelley, age 59 of Dickson, TN died Saturday January 14, 2017. Born in Dickson County, he was the son of Earline Grimes Kelley Polite of Dickson and the late Johnny E. Kelley. He was a 1975 graduate of Dickson County High School. He was a faithful and longtime employee of Wal-Mart in Dickson until his health caused his to retire early. He had many enjoyments throughout his life including reading his bible, fishing and being around family. His biggest joy was singing with his brother in the Revelations formerly known as the Worley Furnace Singers. He was a member of the Worley Furnace Baptist Church.
Along with his mother he is survived by his sons, Maurice LeRay Kelley (Kristen) of Dickson, Curtis Lamar Kelley (Santana) of Dickson; daughter, Deonna Michelle Kelley of Dickson; brothers, Trenity Polite (LaTanya) of Nashville, Winford Kelley of Dickson; sisters, Debbie Adkisson of Dickson, Bertha Green of Dickson; grandmother, Dollie Mae Hogan of Dickson; 9 grandchildren; host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
