   Lyle M. Farrell - age 86 of Dickson Tennessee passed away peacefully on March 17, 2017 at National Heath Care. He was born in Pratt, West Virginia to Hezekiah and Una Morrison Farrell on March 6, 1931.

   A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 5-7pm at the Taylor Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 11:30am at Walnut Street Church of Christ with Bro. Steve Baggett officiating. Mr. Farrell will join his wife, Iris in a private committal at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery prior to the memorial service.

   Mr. Farrell was a member of the United States Army and served our country in the Korean War. He had a successful career as a manufacture representative. Mr. Farrell sold products to retail stores in West Virginia, Kentucky and Indiana. In the early 1970’s his sales territory was changed to Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi. His largest client at the time, Service Merchandise, based out of Nashville is what prompted a move from Kentucky to Dickson. Following his career in Sales he worked as a postal carrier for over 15 years in Dickson County.

   Mr. Farrell and his late wife, Iris “Bebe” Farrell were faithful members of Walnut Street Church of Christ where he served as an Elder. He was also past president of the Dickson Kiwanis Club.

   For many years, he enjoyed gardening about a ½ acre and playing cards. His favorite game was Hand & Foot. He had a great personality and a jokester and would continuously introduce himself to people as “Lyle, Lyle the Crocodile”

   He is survived by his son, Scott A. Farrell and his wife, Mona of Richardson, Texas; daughter, Sheree R. Feeler and her husband, Kevin of Quitman, Arkansas; 6 grandchildren, Kyle Farrell and his wife Ashleigh, Kellie Farrell, Kerrie Farrell, Kirk Farrell, Nicole Wisniowski and her husband Matt and Kristopher Feeler and his wife Bailey; 1 great-granddaughter, Harper Farrell
