Marjorie Ann “Margie” LeMaster, known as “Butterfly Granny” to her grandchildren, age 75 of Dickson, TN died on June 6, 2017. Memorial services will be Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 3pm from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Stuart Brooks officiating. Visitation with the family will be Saturday June 17th from 12pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital of Lexington, Kentucky.
Mrs. LeMaster was born May 2, 1942 in Walnut Township, Gallia County, Ohio. She was a daughter of the late Forrest Cecil Bartram and Ida Kathryn (Drummond) Bartram. She was a certified first surgical assistant, having worked locally at the Goodlark Medical Center for 20 years, and 6 years at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in the Surgery Department. Margie was civic minded and believed in giving back to your community. For many years she supported the local fundraising efforts of the Cancer Society. She was a faithful member of The House of the Lord Church in Bon Aqua, TN. She never met a stranger and dearly loved her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Lou (Bartram) Glasgow; her brother, William Forrest “Bill” Bartram.
Mrs. LeMaster is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Lee “Bob” LeMaster of Dickson; her son, Cody Forrest LeMaster and his wife, Janet of Dickson; her daughter, Melissa Lyn (LeMaster) Barker and her husband, Chris of Tennessee Ridge; her brother, Gary Lee Bartram and his wife, Janet of Florida; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Marie (Barker) Watson and her husband Chris of Tennessee Ridge, Summer LeMaster, Bobby LeMaster of Dickson; she also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and friends.
