   Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 12:00 noon from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Blunt as eulogist. Place of rest will be in the Nesbitt Promise Land Cemetery in the Promise Land Community.

  Visitation will be Friday evening, June 23rd from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until time of service.

   Donnie, known by family and friends as “Bar Head” age 54, of Cumberland Furnace died peacefully at the Alive Hospice Residence in Nashville June 20, 2017 with his family by his side.

   Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Emmanuel Church in Charlotte, TN.

   He was a lifelong Dickson Countian, son of the late William Ralph and Vera Dixon Primm and was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry and Ted Primm and sister, Susie Primm. He was a graduate of Dickson County Senior High, class of 1982. While in high school he ran track and cross country.  He was a Deacon and faithful member of the Emmanuel Church in Charlotte. Donnie was by trade a boiler maker.

   His hobbies included spending all day on the water fishing. He loved hunting and the past few years he enjoyed gardening with his brother Fred, known by Donnie as “Baby”.  He was a hard worker, loved working and doing a good job. He loved traveling, cruising and being around people.  His personality was such as the type of person that never met a stranger, showing them a good sense of humor and had the ability pull a good joke on someone and even tell a good one.  Donnie was a “sharp” and “clean” dresser always looking “fine”. His faith ran deep and he was willing to share his goodness from God with everyone. He was preceded in death by brothers, William L. Primm and Ted W. Primm and sister, Susie L. Primm Bell.

  Survivors include his wife, Victoria Carroll Primm of Cumberland Furnace, TN; his son, Donnie Glenn Primm, Jr. of Dickson, TN; his two daughters, LeAnna (Chadwick)  Primm of Dickson, TN and Deara Primm of Dickson, TN;  his two grandchildren, Abigail and Grayson; his three brothers, Albert Primm and his wife, Shirley of Cumberland Furnace, TN, his twin, Ronnie Primm and his wife, Pam of Dickson, TN and Fred Primm and his wife, Emma of Cumberland Furnace, TN; his sister, Lucille Evans and her husband, Larry of Dickson, TN; Aunt, Mrs. Sarah Dixon of Charlotte, TN; Sister in law, Terry Primm of Cumberland Furnace, TN; brother in law, Billy Bell of Charlotte, TN; Special friend, Johnny Cunningham, Special and dearest friend, Billy Witherspoon ; Many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
