    Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning, August 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Chad Sullivan and Dr. Mark Walton officiating. Place of rest will be in the Willow Springs Cemetery in Hickman County. Visitation will be Thursday evening, August 17th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m and on Friday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Military honors will be observed following the chapel service.
   Mr. Warren, age 88, of Lyles, TN died suddenly Monday morning, August 14, 2017 at Tri-Star Natchez emergency facility.
   He was born in Hickman County, son of the late James Albert and Arminta Martin Warren. He was one of eleven children and they were always refered to as follows; There was Hollis, Wallace, Dorris,and Gene, Katie, Carter and Baby Irene, then there was Lummie, Clebert, Mary Tom and Hillard.  Now there are two surviving, Clebert and Irene. He was retired from the Taylor Michigan School District.
    Mr. Warren, first and foremost loved his family.  He loved the Warren get togethers. He came from a musically talented family and loved to play the guitar and make music with his family.  He was an avid golfer and loved spending much time on the golf course.  He also had a love for the our of doors and spending hours hunting and fishing. He naturally had a green thumb and could make anything grow.  He loved his garden, his beautiful yard.
   He proudly served his country in the Korean conflict in the United States Army and was a member of the Fairfield Baptist Church.
   Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Pearl Hughes Warren of Lyles,TN; his children, Donnie Baker of Trenton, MI, Jerry Warren and wife, Ruth of Olney, IL, Terry Warren and wife, Sue of Centerville,TN, Carlene Warren of Lyles,TN. 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren; his brother, Clebert Warren and wife, Phyllis of Dickson,TN and his sister, Irene Ross of Dickson,TN. Several nieces and nephews.
