Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 4-7pm at the Taylor Funeral Home and on Saturday, January 6, 2018 beginning at 11am with a Celebration of Life at 12 noon at New Hope Baptist Church with pastor Mathew Lester, eulogist and pastor, Roderick Davison, officiant.
Mrs. Hogan was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Dickson, TN. She was born on July 18, 1926 to Mark and Sara Sanders who preceded her in death. She also is preceded by eight brothers, Jessie, Billy, Jimmy, Alexander, Elliott, Clayton, Richard William "R,T." and Brownie as well as sisters, Roberta, Idella, Irene and Leona.
She was baptized at an early age at Worley Furnace Missionary Baptist Church. She later untied with New Hope Baptist Church where she remained a member until death.
Ms. Dollie leaves to cherish her memories: thirteen children; Eddie Hornbeak, Cindy Grimes, Elouise (Thomas) Pryor of Nashville, TN, Earlene Polite, Mary Ann Hughes, Linda Robertson, Kay (Bill) Russ, Patricia Corlew Chatman, Herman (Carol) Grimes, Lawrence (Natile) Grimes, Billy Grimes, Morris Grimes an Troy Grimes of Dickson; one brother, Odell Sanders and son-in-law, Roger O’Neil Corlew.
