   Private funeral services were conducted Thursday, June 14, 2018, from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. Allen Weller officiated. Place of rest is in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Pioneer’s Bible Class White Christmas, St. Jude Children's Hospital, or to Olive Branch Activities Program. He was born in Montgomery County, son of the late George L. Sr. and Annie Mai Coke Crockarell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Madeline Henry Crockarell.
   He was a salesman with the former Arnold’s Clothing in Downtown Dickson. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he was a postal clerk at the Dickson Post Office. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during peacetime. Mr. Crockarell was a quiet and gentle man who always greeted you at the Dickson Post Office with kindness and a willingness to help. He was a 1948 graduate of Dickson High School. He was a longtime member of Dickson First United Methodist Church where he attended the Pioneer Bible Class. He is survived by his sister; Claudia Justice and her husband, Ray of London, Ohio, Two nieces, Lee Ann Justice of London, Ohio, Lisa Davis and her husband, Rick of London, Ohio, Two great nieces, Rickelle and Rylee Davis, one great nephew, Ryne Davis; Special friends, Louis Shelton and Imogene Morris.
