Service and Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday, February 23rd, 2019, 2:00 p.m. at Bon Aqua Church of Christ, 9348 Big Spring Creek Road, Bon Aqua, TN 37025. In lieu of flowers it would honor him most by making a donation to www.FightDMD.com.  His two nephews battle this disease. 

Hooper Davidson, age 70, passed on Thursday February 14th with his adored children and siblings by his side. He will always be remembered for his loving smile, laughs, and sincere kindness. Hooper proudly served his country in the National Guard from 1971-1977. After the National Guard, Hooper spent much of his career working in various capacities within the construction trades. Many of his endeavors can still be seen around Nashville today. One of his proudest occupational achievements was training up young men within the trade, some of whom developed very successful businesses. 
 
Hooper was so proud of his immediate family, as well as his extended family. His favorite place to be was in the presence of all his family at reunions, birthdays, and Christmas gatherings. 
 
He is survived by two children, Chris Davidson (Mackalynn) of Nashville, TN and Heather Vollman (Steve) of Chattanooga, TN; four grandchildren, Scarlett, Cora, Connor, Weston; five siblings, Anah Weathers (Luther) of Nashville, TN, Spydell Davidson (Becky) of Martin, TN, Tommy Davidson (Janice) of Dickson, TN, Alra Maddox (Tom) of Skiatook, OK, and Sherry McMilleon of Nashville, TN. He has a large extended family of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. 
 
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alrice and Mamie Davidson; and a grandchild, Daniel.
