Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. George Adair officiating.  Visitation with the family will take place on Monday evening from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Place of rest will be in the Edgewood Cemetery.

For those desiring, memorial contributions are to be made to the Edgewood Cemetery.

Vincent Neal Bellar, age 86 of Dickson, passed away on Saturday, March 16 at Horizon Medical Center.  He was born to the late Elmer and Nannie Wilson Bellar in Dickson County on March 29, 1932.  Neal served his country in the United States Army.  He was a tobacco and cattle farmer for most of his life.  He also spent 25 years at Consolidated Aluminum and later retired from the State of Tennessee in Maintenance at Montgomery Bell State Park.  He was a member of the Edgewood United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Bellar was preceded in death by his wife Roberta Adelaine Johnson Bellar, and his daughter Vicky Bellar Lynch.

Survivors include his children Ronnie O’Neal Bellar of Dickson, Don Robin Bellar and his wife Elizabeth of Dickson, Michael Scott Bellar and his wife Julie of Dickson, and Deborah Elaine Bellar and Alton Choate; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff of Horizon Medical Center, NHC Nursing Home, and all of his caregivers for their service to our father in his time of need.
