Nancy, age 75, of Stayton, TN died suddenly May 23, 2019 at Horizon Medical Center.
Nancy was a lifelong resident and fixture of the Stayton Community, daughter of the late Marvin Nathaniel and Lillie Mayfield Forsythe. She loved the Stayton Community and all of her neighbors. Nancy was best known for her ability to out work anyone. Her first and foremost passion was farming. She loved her hands in the soil. She did work publicly on the side for periods of time in housekeeping at NHC and worked at the former Quebecor.
Nancy loved her family and encouraged them to do the very best they could. The apple of her eye was her only child, Gilla and her grandchildren. She loved family and her friends and had a heart of gold for those in need. She was known to share the fruits of her gardening labor and would make many home deliveries. She had knowledge of farming and gardening and was a great source of information.
She is survived by her daughter; Gilla Camden of Qatar, her five grandchildren; Gilla, Yousef, Yasmine, Basma and Kinza, her brother; Staley Forsythe and his wife, Connie of Stayton, her sister in law; Ruby Camden of Dickson, TN and several cousins including; Bedie Groves of Charlotte, TN.
