 Graveside services for Pearl Ione Cathey Hayes, age 92 of White Bluff, will begin at 12 noon Friday, June 19, 2020 from Dickson County Memorial Gardens with Richard Dean Morgan officiating.  She will be interred next to her husband, Frank.   Mrs. Hayes died Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at her home.    Visitation with the family will be at Taylor Funeral Home on Thursday, June 18th from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 10 until 11:30 a.m.

Born in Burns, Tennessee, Mrs. Hayes was the daughter of the late John Montgomery Cathey and the late Allie Mae Garton Cathey.  She was preceded by her husband, Frank F. Hayes in 1999.  She was also preceded by six brothers and sisters.  She was Baptist by faith.  Mrs. Pearl loved her family and she loved cooking and baking for them.  She also enjoyed watching RFD tv and past performances of the Grand Ole Opry.  She had a special love for children and her eyes would “light up” when in their presence.  She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Hayes (Linda), White Bluff, Sue Hayes Cauthen (Dallas), Vickie Hayes Barkoskie, and Rodney Hayes (Andrea), all of Dickson; her grandchildren, Traci Hayes Williams, Jennifer Hayes Hohl, Chip Hayes, Deana Cauthen, Daryl Cauthen, Teresa Stringfield, Courtney Jackson, Lacey Hooper, Jr. Hayes, and Natalie Hayes; 10 great-grandchildren; her sister, Mattie Cooper, Dickson; several nieces and nephews, and a dear friend and caregiver, Elayna Gass.
