 Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Dickson. Visitation with the family will begin at 12 noon and last until the time of service, also at the church.

Sam Bromell III, age 69 of Burns, TN passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 30, 2020 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. He was born to the late Sam II and Elouise Walker Blumell in Horry County, South Carolina on September 27, 1951. Mr. Bromell spent most of his working career employed by Tennsco as a Certified Powder Paint Specialist.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: John Blumell; his sisters: Ella Weiss and Roxie McCoy; and a grandson: Justin Overton.

Survivors include his wife: Mary C. Bromell of Burns; his sons: Sam Bromell IV of Dickson and Eric Bromell (Laura) of Gallatin; his daughters: Stephanie Overton of Longs, SC and Melissa Thompson (Dwight) of Conway, SC; his brother: Larry Bromell of Little River, SC; his sisters: Mishar Pringle (Julius) of Little River, SC and Karrie Martin (Terence) of Arizona; his grandchildren: Dimitri Bromell, Destiny Overton, Elijah Thompson, Gabriel Thompson, Ezekiel Bromell, Malachi Darden-Bromell, Mekhia Darden-Bromell, Makaleigh Darden-Bromell, Everleigh Jersey Thyme Bromell, and Lance Martin; his special friends and brothers: Allen Carr, William Wigfall, Ralph Carr, and Michael Grigsby; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and many many friends.
