Anthony, age 31, of Dickson, TN died suddenly of unknown causes November 13, 2020 at his home.

He was born in Davidson County, son of Anthony Dean Henley, Sr. and Mellissa Register Henley. He was a graduate of Dickson County High School, class of 2007.

Anthony “Ant” Dean Henley Jr. above all things was a family man. His two children, Mayson and Madi were his absolute pride and joy. If there were anything in the world that his children needed, Anthony was going to fight tooth and nail to get it for them. Ant also wouldn’t leave a conversation with his friends or family without letting him know that he loves them and without reminding them to be safe.
Ant was always strong and comforting. He would never shy away from a challenge, but was never too prideful to ask for help. As he got older, he turned from a fiery teenager into a mellow distinguished man. He had this soothing presence and voice that made everything seem like all of the problems in the world were so easily solvable.

He never knew a stranger. Anyone on the street could become a friend, and with Anthony, friends are as good as family. He was a part of the infamous “Goon Squad,” an eclectic group of friends that might as well have been blood. Friends that could have the shirt off his back if they asked for it.
Ant’s favorite hobby was spending time with his children. Putting a smile on their faces truly was better to him than all the gold in the world. When his children were sleeping, his alternative joys were listening to music, playing video games, and in the summer months, simply floating down the Piney.
Anthony is survived by his two children, Mayson and Madi, his parents, Mellissa and Tony, his four brothers, Jameson, Josh, Ethan, and Roo, his grandmother, Stella Register, the mother of his children, Danstyn Holloway, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, and Nephews.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim Register  and Red and Virginia Henley.
