Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 2PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Family and friends will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 11AM until the time of service.
Michael “Mike” Delbert Bliss, age 63, of Burns, TN passed away on September 20, 2024, at Alive Hospice.
Michael was born on September 13, 1961 in Ashtabula, Ohio, but Tennessee became his final home in 1982. He loved cooking, nature, tinkering in his garage, fishing, boating, and target shooting. He loved water, especially the ocean, where he spent his younger years living in Florida. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend.
Michael was preceded in death by his father; Delbert Bliss, his sister; Connie Solazzo and his step-father; Dale Griffen.
Survivors include his wife; Laura Bliss of Burns, TN, his mother; Patricia Griffen of the Villages, FL, daughter; Hannah Claire Bliss (Heath Lester) of Slidell, LA, brother; Robert Bliss of Osage Beach, MO, and step-mother; Ada Bliss of the Villages, FL.
