Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 2PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Tommy Marvin will officiate. Visitation will take place on Saturday from 12PM until the time of service. Burial will take place in the Union Cemetery.
Stanley Earthman Lane, age 92, of Dickson, TN, passed away on September 24, 2024.
Stanley was born in Dickson, TN, on September 23, 1932, to the late Earthman Smith Lane and Grace Elizabeth Duke Lane. Stanley graduated from Dickson High School, class of 52’ and was known for being part of the “Sylvis Street Gang” growing up. He served in the United States Air Force during WWII and was stationed in Germany where he met the love of his life; Annemarie Brandl. They were married for over 56 years until her passing in 2013. They traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe during their marriage. He was known to be a very honest man, loving husband and father. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Earthman & Grace Lane, wife; Annemarie Lane, son-in-law; Gerald Donegan, grandson; Clinton Donegan, brother; James Lane, sisters; Frances Kelly, Quidabel Corlew, Faye Harris, and Dana Jo Jacobson.
Survivors include his son; Billy Joe Lane (Fe) of FL, his daughters; Vicky Donegan (Steve Henry) of Dickson, TN, Rebecca Bone of Dickson, TN, grandchildren; Nicholas Lane and Rachel Lane.
