Memorial services will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 3PM from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. Randy Franklin will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10AM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society of Dickson County.
Glenda Sue Choate Tidwell, age 69, of Dickson TN, passed away on September 24, 2024.
Glenda was born in Tacoma, Washington, on March 6, 1955, to the late Billy Choate and Barbara Carr Higdon. She had worked as an Account Tech for the State of Tennessee. She was the type of person that loved everyone and never met a stranger. After retiring she loved to do crafts and loved to travel. Her favorite place was Gatlinburg so she could see the bears. She loved to go on cruises and had a variety of interests. She loved to garden, cook, can food and loved her animals. She also enjoyed going to the Senior Citizens center to see friends, play bingo and exercise. Above all, she loved her family and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Warf.
Survivors include her husband; Kerry Tidwell of Dickson, TN, her granddaughter; Hailey Warf (Nathan Roach) of Burns, TN, her son-in-law, Brian Warf of Dickson, TN, her sister, Mary Higdon, cousins, Ray Carr, Tracy Scott, several nieces and nephews.
