Mr. Hall was born on June 18, 1949 in Dickson, Tennessee. He was a son of the late Alver Monroe Hall and the late Amanda Ethel Estes Hall. While working at a hospital in Nashville, Wayne was introduced to Sherry Lynn Lankford. On June 1, 1974 they joined in marriage. Mr. Hall had worked in the meter division of the Dickson Water Authority and retired with 33 years of service. He enjoyed the hobby and craftsmanship of woodworking. He used his talent to build cabinets, furniture and shelving. Wayne enjoyed farming, gardening, and both riding and taking care of his horses. Above all, Wayne was a family man, he was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Marshall Hall and Donald Monroe Hall; three sisters, Elizabeth Luke, Maurine Gill, and Maxine Bowker.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sherry Hall; his son, Chad Hall and his wife, Tammy Jo Hall; his sister, Glenda Kay Harbison and her husband, Howard; his granddaughter, Bailey Jo Hall. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
