Philip Lynn Broadway, Sr.

 Funeral services for Philip Lynn Broadway, Sr., age 57 of Burns, Tennessee will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Grissom officiating.   Interment will follow in Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday January 8th from 2 to 8 PM and on Thursday from 10 AM until time of service.  Mr. Broadway died Sunday, January 5, 2014 at his home.
 
Phil was born in Nashville son of Barbara Jean McDonald Davis and the late George William Broadway, II.  He graduated from Dickson County High School in the Class of 1974.  A retired firefighter with City of Dickson Fire Department with 28 years service, Phil was a member of IFAA Local #3145.  He also owned and operated DC Fire and Safety, a private company to inspect and maintain fire extinguishers and to provide and install fire and smoke detector systems.  He was a member of the World Outreach Church.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Davis.
 
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Broadway, Burns; two sons, Phillip Broadway, Jr. (Tara), Dickson, and Nick Broadway (Tammie) Dickson; mother, Barbara Davis, Burns; sister, Myra Broadway Rasnick, Gallatin; seven grandchildren, McKenzie Broadway, Quentin Broadway, Andrew Curtis, Adrienne Curtis, Dustin Graves, Hali Hilligoss, and Zack Broadway; five great grandchildren, Colbe Hilligoss, Colton Graves, Austin Graves, Allie Graves, and Connor Reasonover.
