 Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Overbey Martin, age 73 of White Bluff will be Sunday February 2, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Dankson and Bro. James Carrington officiating. Place of rest will be in the Rock Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday February 1st from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and on Sunday from 12:00 PM noon until time of service. Those desiring memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association or the United Freewill Baptist Church. Services are under the direction of the Taylor Funeral Home.
 
Mrs. Martin died Thursday January 31, 2014 at Alive Hospice at St. Thomas. A native of Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Gertie Harmon Overbey and was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Deal. She was a retired LPN and a member of the United Freewill Baptist Church.
 
Survivors include her husband, Troy E. Martin of White Bluff; sons, Troy D. Martin and his wife Jennie of Dickson, Tracey Martin and his wife Dawn of Dickson, Travis Martin and his wife Beth of Dickson; brother, Paul Overbey of Nunnelly; sisters, Mary Donegan of Fairview, Patricia Molter of Dickson, Juanita Buttrey of Cainsville, MO; 8 grandchildren, Lauren Taraczkozy, Hope Martin, Kaitlyn Profitt and her husband Joshua, Courtney Adams and her husband Marcus, Abbie Martin, Taylor Martin, Jordan Martin, Patrick Martin; 4 great grandchildren, Brylee & Brenten Barnhill, Kinley Slayton, Raigan Profitt; several nieces and nephews.
