Mr. Earl E. Lerch, age 89 of White Bluff, TN died Oct. 21, 2014 at St. Thomas Midtown after a brief stay.  Funeral services for Mr. Lerch were conducted Saturday morning, Oct. 25, 2014 at 11 am from the First Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Miller and Bro. Lewis Bratton officiating. Place of rest is in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.  

 

Born in Elizabethtown, PA, son of the late Martin Luther and Katherine Bard Lerch. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Dickson. He was a retired tire builder with Goodyear with 35 years of service.  He was an avid golfer and played at Montgomery Bell and Greystone. He also served as a marshall at both golf courses. Even after retirement, he continued to work in the construction work, also working with HCA and also being self employed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice McGee (Bernie) Lerch and a granddaughter, Katie Kerr.

Survivors include His Children, Laurie E. Kerr of White Bluff, TN, Martin Lerch of Kempner, Texas and Dan Lerch of White Bluff, TN His Eight Grandchildren and his ten Great Grandchildren. Several brothers and Sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernie and his granddaughter, Katie Kerr.
