Clarence Edward “CE” Pringle, age 84 of Dickson, TN died on October 14, 2017. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 from 6 until 8:00 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home. A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Darety officiating. Place of rest and graveside service will be in the Corning Cemetery, Corning, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Churches of Christ Disaster Relief, Nashville, TN.
Mr. Pringle was born March 10, 1933 in Etowah, Arkansas. He was a son of the late Thomas and Mattie Delaney Pringle. He was a Veteran, having served his Country in the United States Air Force. He was an entrepreneur, owning and operating an electrical business in Florida. In 1970 he relocated to become a developer and realtor in Tennessee. Mr. Pringle was a dedicated “family man” and lifelong member of the Church of Christ. Before a decline in his health, he attended services at the Pomona Church of Christ, Dickson, TN. His wise counsel and example of integrity will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Veleta Mae Pringle of Dickson, TN; his daughters, Vonita M. Gray of Dickson, TN, Teresa K. Taylor (Mark) of Arkansas; son, Michael A. Pringle (Revonda) North Carolina; grandchildren, Jared R. Gray (Nicole), Jason A. Gray (Rachel), Yvonne M. Pringle, Ashley Burgess (Brandon); great grandchildren, Heather, Kylie, and Emily; sister, Lois Wayman of Missouri.
