Funeral services will be Monday May 22, 2017 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. John Lankford officiating. Place of rest will be in the Union Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Monday May 22nd from 12 PM until time of service.
Mrs. Eleanor Odell Stacy Smith, age 91 of Dickson, TN died Wednesday May 17, 2017. Born in Dickson County, she was the daughter of the late William McKinley and Maggie Mae Jones Stacy and was preceded in death by her husband John Robert Smith. She had worked as a Manager for Dollar General and after her retirement she worked at Wal-Mart for a while as a greeter. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her son, John Steven Smith of Dickson, TN; daughters, Vicki Smith House of Lexington, KY, Susan Smith Bearden (Ronnie Dale) of Cunningham, TN; 5 grandchildren, Jessica Nitschke, Stacie Harberson, Wesley House Wood, Lindsey House, Erica House; 3 great grandchildren, Sophia & Gunner Nitschke, Walker Wood.
