Graveside services will be Saturday November 19, 2016 at 1 PM at Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday November 18th from 5 to 8 PM at Taylor Funeral Home and on Saturday from 12 PM until time of Graveside at Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church.
Mr. James Larry Avritt, age 79 of Dickson, TN died Wednesday November 19, 2016. Born in Nashville, TN he was the son of the late James Powell and Eunice Elizabeth Dobbins Avritt. He had worked for several Restaurants in the kitchen. He was a member of the Nashville Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Jean McGee Avritt of Dickson; daughters, Lisa James & Karen Wolfe both of Nashville; step-sons, Mark Tomlin of Franklin, David Tomlin & Ronald Tomlin both of Fairview, Don Tomlin of Tacoma, WA; 4 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 8 step-great grandchildren.
