Michael Chaun Lankford, age 63 of Dickson, TN passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at his home.
He was born to the late Max Elton and Rosemary Ruth Walsh Lankford on July 18, 1957. Mike leaves behind his wife of over 34 years, Lisa Barnett Lankford. He worked for many years as a maintenance supervisor for Teksid. He was a member of the Sylvia Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife: Lisa Barnett Lankford; his mother: Rosemary Ruth Lankford of Dickson; his son: Joshua Lankford (Bridgett) of Vanleer; his brother: Kevin Lankford (Alison) of Fairbanks, Alaska; his sister: Andrea Jennings (Mike) of Dickson; grandchildren: Ellie and Clara Jo Lankford of Dickson; mother-in-law: Helen Lankford of Dickson; brothers-in-law: Ronnie Barnett (Kathy) of Jackson, and Ben Barnett of Dickson; sisters-in-law: Bonnie McKissack (Scott) of Murfreesboro, and Donna Schleicher (John) of Murfreesboro; and several nieces, nephews and cousins that loved Mike very much.
Mike’s wishes were to be cremated. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
