Phyllis Cornelia Dix Herring – Age 93 of White Bluff passed away peacefully at home on April 14, 2017.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3pm on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Dickson County Memorial Gardens. No public visitation will be held.
Mrs. Herring was born on December 12, 1923 to the late William Edward and Liesel Gobel Dix. She is preceded in death by her husband, W.W. “Bill” Herring and son, Hal Edward Herring
She is survived by her step-daughter, Gale Howard of Michigan City, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Herring was a beloved animal lover. She enjoyed refinishing furniture, cooking and was a great seamstress. She was a member of the White Bluff Masonic Lodge’s Order of the Eastern Star. She also was a longtime member of White Bluff United Methodist Church.
