Mrs. Thelma Moss Overbey – Age 80 of Dickson, TN passed away on August 20, 2016 at National Healthcare Dickson.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 5-7pm and on Wednesday from 11- 1pm. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted by Bro. Wilson Jenkins on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 1pm form the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Prayer Mausoleum of Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Overbey was preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Moss Bradley. Survived by her husband of 33 years, Ezra Lee Overbey; nephew, Morris Randall “Randy” Bradley; and niece, Leanna Bradley, and several cousins.
Mrs. Overbey was a member of Pomona Church of Christ. She was a true animal lover. She would take any animal that needed a home. Strays somehow found themselves to her loving arms where she would nurture and care for them.
