     Funeral services will be Monday June 6, 2016 at 1 PM at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Roderick Davison, Sr. officiating and Rev. Matthew Lester, Sr. giving her eulogy. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Monday June 6th from 11 AM until time of service at the church.
      Marcia Antionette Carr age 41 of Dickson died Wednesday June 1, 2016. Born in Dickson County, she was the daughter of Allen and Patricia Corlew Carr, Sr. of Dickson and was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Pearlie Mae Williams Carr and Robert D. and Delores Dixon Corlew. Marcia was a Dickson County High School graduate and has worked for Developmental Services of Dickson for 19 years. Marcia possessed a sweet and understanding spirit. Marcia loved playing soft ball, singing with her family and choir, working in the church and serving the youth as there youth director, and attending social gatherings with family and friends. Most of all Marcia loved being a mom to her 3 children, she knew how to give and receive love. She was a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

      Along with her parents she is survived by her son, Carlos Northington (Amber) of Hermitage; daughters, Daniecia Northington of Madison, Mikiya Northington of Dickson; brother, Allen Carr, Jr. of Dickson; sister, Marlo Nicole “Nicky” Daniels (Terry) of Lawton, OK; special friends, Courtney Duke, Tracey Jackson, Karen Carr-Perkins; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
