Father and son, Mark Anthony Glasgow age 42 and Christian Lain Glasgow age 17, went to be with their Heavenly Father on December 20, 2016 while traveling from Tennessee to Texas.  A service to celebrate their life will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 7pm at the Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Jennette officiating. Visitation will be held from 5pm until the time of service.

Mark was born in Nashville, TN on October 10, 1974, a son of Wanda G. Carney Glasgow and the late Marvin Glasgow, Sr.  He worked in the restaurant industry, most recently as a manager for the Capt. D’s  location in Dickson. 

Christian was born in Dickson, TN on December 18, 1999.  He had just celebrated his 17th birthday.  He attended school in Dickson County.

Mark and Christian attended services at the Empowered Ministries Church in Dickson where both were active in supporting the church through Sunday School, Worship and fund raising.  Mark had served as a former leader of the Celebrate Recovery Worship Band.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Kari Magnuson Glasgow of White Bluff, TN; his mother, Wanda Carney Glasgow of Ashland City, TN; his sisters, Tammy Hogan of Arkansas, Brittany Glasgow of Nashville, TN; his brothers, Marvin Allen Glasgow, Jr. of White Bluff, TN, Joey Glasgow (Brandy) of Ashland City, TN, and Allen Glasgow of Nashville, TN; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Christian is survived by his caring mother, Kari Magnuson Glasgow of White Bluff, TN; his grandparents, Judith Dressel Magnuson of Minnesota, Wanda Carney Glasgow of Ashland City, TN, and David Glen Magnuson of Dickson; his aunts, Erin Guire (Lisa) of Dickson, TN, Tammy Hogan of Arkansas, Brittany Glasgow of Nashville, TN, Janie Glasgow of Ashland City, TN; his uncles, Marvin Allen Glasgow, Jr. of White Bluff, TN, Joey Glasgow (Brandy) of Ashland City, TN, and Allen Glasgow of Nashville, TN; Cousins, Teagan, Christopher, Austin, Mckenzie, Logan, Skylar, and Luke.  Christian is also survived by his service dog “Gizmo,” a friend that changed his life for the best.

Kari Glasgow and all of Mark and Christian’s family would like to express their gratitude to the generous hearts of all of those who have contributed financially and through prayer.  Kari’s heart is broken, she has lost her family and with that there will be many difficult decisions and changes in her life.  Your support is much needed and greatly appreciated.  For those desiring, memorials/donations may be made at the Taylor Funeral Home or at a gofundme account.
