     Funeral services for Roberta Winkler Kimbro, age 95 of Dickson will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Steve Baggett, Joe Baumgartel and Tommy Marvin officiating. Interment will follow in the Kimbro Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 until 8 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 until time of service.
     Mrs. Kimbro died December 26 at NHC. For those desiring, memorials may be made to the Kimbro Cemetery Fund or to Walnut St. Church of Christ designated for “Room In Our Hearts” mission outreach.
      A homemaker, Mrs. Kimbro was the daughter of the late Herbert and Roberta Pearl Goodwin Winkler. She was married to Lilburn Kimbro who predeceased her in 1990. She was a member of Walnut Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Kimbro was active in gardening and the farming life; activities, dinners, and functions of the Mt. Sinai Community, quilting, and lovingly caring for her family.
      She was preceded in death by brothers, Earnest Winkler, Wilmont Winkler, and Charles Winkler and by her sisters, Francis Vaughan and Carrie Winkler.
      Survivors include two daughters, Martha Gregory (Sam), and Sue Buckner (Carl), all of Dickson; her sister, Dora Jordan, Fayetteville, TN; grandchildren, Pamela Barnes and David Buckner; great grandchildren, Derek Barnes, Matthew Barnes, Morgan Buckner, and Heather Buckner; step-grandchildren, Jeff Gregory, Sam O. Gregory, and Robin Ragan; seven step great-grandchildren; and three step great-great grandchildren.
