     Memorial graveside services with military honors for Mr. Frank E. Puckett, age 94 of White Bluff will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery. Visitation with the family will be at Taylor Funeral Home on Monday, January 2nd from 4 until 8 p.m. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be considered for St. Jude Children’s Hospital or for Veteran’s Park in White Bluff.
     Mr. Puckett died Sunday, January 1, 2017 at NHC, Dickson. Born in White Bluff, Mr. Puckett was the son of the late John M. and Lillie Howell Puckett. He served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII. He was the recipient of two purple hearts, WWII Victory Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, American Theater Ribbon, and AP Theater Ribbon. Mr. Puckett was married to Viola Martin Puckett, who survives. He retired from Ford Glass Plant having worked for them in the Shipping and Receiving Department. And he loved fishing!

     Survivors include his wife, Viola Martin Puckett, White Bluff; Two children, Mona K. Mosley (Don) and Terry M. Puckett (Marilyn); one sister, Jonnie Sue Petty (Freddie); 6 grandchildren, Rachel Jefferson (John), Hannah Walker (Dustin), Sarah Mosley, Martin Puckett, Veronica Puckett and Rebekah Davidson (Taylor); 6 great-grandchildren; Special family members, Alma Ruth, Michael, Alex, and Eli Edwards, Brent Aulidge, several nieces and nephews.
