    Funeral services will be conducted Friday evening, December 8, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Tommy Marvin will give his eulogy.  Visitation with his family will be on Friday beginning at 2:00 p.m. until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery.
   Mackey, age 80, of Dickson,TN died peacefully December 5, 2017 in Murfreesboro, TN at Adam's Place Health Care Center.
   Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer's Foundation or to the Charity of you choice.
    He was born in Nashville,Tennessee, son of the late Ewell M Wrenn, Sr and Louise Tomlinson Wrenn and grandson of the late H. G. and Minnie Lee Tomlinson, all owners and operators of the former H. G. Tomlinson Grocery on Main Street in Downtown Dickson.  They as a family operated this grocery and served the families of Dickson, TN for many, many years offering charge accounts and home delivery services.  Mackey was a longtime fixture on Main Street in Dickson.  He served his country in the Armed forces and later in the National Guard.  He was a graduate of Dickson High School and was member of the First United Methodist Church of Dickson.  Mackey always had a smile to share and willing to share his wit with those around him.  He loved his family dearly and his friends and enjoyed spending time with them.  He loved to travel and enjoyed life.
    Survivors include his daughter,Stephanie Tatum and her husband, Mike of Murfreesboro, TN, his brother, Horace Dale Wrenn of Huntsville,AL, his two grandchildren, Mackenzie Tatum and Kindal Tatum.
