Randall was a faithful member of the Grace Baptist Church in Dickson and also had a long standing affiliation with Crossroads Church in White Bluff, TN.  His unfailing desire for people to know and serve God was evidenced by his years of commitment to his church, visiting the sick, helping those in need, his vigilant prayer life and studying The Bible.  He also was a dedicated Gideon and enjoyed being able to share God’s word by distributing Gideon Bibles.  He would often have one in his pocket and randomly share with a stranger as his heart was directed.

He had a great love for the outdoors. Randall was an avid hunter. He loved to hunt deer, ducks, turkeys and also liked fishing.  He enjoyed golfing and restoring antique tractors.  He dedicated many years as The Director and a coach for The White Bluff Bombers. He also spent time serving as a Boy Scout Leader and Baseball Coach.

A special tribute to Marlene Buttrey who gave him a special gift of life in 2002.  Her selflessness and love allowed Randall a second chance for continuing a productive and blessed life.

Also special thanks to the private caretakers who attended to Randall’s needs with love and compassion day after day.
