           A memorial service for Timothy Sean “Tim” Harbison, age 55 of Ashland City and formerly of Dickson, will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2018 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Chaplain David Mowbray officiating.  He died suddenly December 31, 2018.  Visitation with the family will be the hour prior to the service, from 5 until 6 p.m.  His ashes will be interred at a later time on the family plot at Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to DCHS Cross Country, Amnesty International, ASPCA, or Wounded Warriors.

     Born in Nashville, Tim was the son of Jim and Sandra Street “Sandy” Harbison.  He graduated from DCHS in 1982 and from U.T. Martin in 1986.  Tim also received his Master’s Degree from MTSU and enjoyed further studies in computer programming and philosophy.  Tim was an avid runner and while in high school, he placed 4th in the State in Cross Country.  He excelled in cross country and pursued his passion until the day he died.  He worked as a computer programmer for the State of Tennessee, Department of Corrections.  Tim will be remembered by family and friends as a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. 

      He is survived by his parents, Jim and Sandy Harbison, Dickson; his sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Andy Davis, Jackson, TN; a niece, Ali Grace Davis; two nephews, Knox Davis and Ben Davis; aunts and uncles, George and Maylene Renegar, Howard and Kay Harbison, Fred Harbison, and Donna Lawrence; several cousins.  He was preceded in death by an uncle, James Lawrence.
