 Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Bro. George Caudill will officiate. Place of rest will be in the Dickson Union Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 12th from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time of service.

Those desiring, memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.

Mrs. Holland, age 85, of Dickson, TN died February 10, 2020 at Tri-Star Horizon Medical Center.

She was born in Hickman County, daughter of the late John Hollis Annis and Louise Hassell Annis.  Mrs. Holland received her Master’s Degree and was a long time Dickson County educator with 26 years of service.  For many years Mrs. Holland taught bookkeeping, general business, typing,  and business law at Dickson County High School,  retiring as Assistant Principal and later taught at Dickson Vocational School.  After retirement  from her teaching career she began working with longtime Dickson business, Hodges Jewelers, as  an accountant. She worked there for some 24 years until her death.

Mrs. Holland was always active in her life, she was an avid reader, a loving wife and mother. She was the widow of the late Terry Wallace Holland. Mrs. Holland was a member of the DAR and a member of the Walnut Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son, Kim Holland of Dickson,TN; her sister, Betty Lee of Dickson,TN; her brothers, Bill Annis of Florida, Bob Annis of Dickson, TN and Joe Annis of Dickson, TN; several nieces and nephews.
