 Private family services will be on Monday, April 27, 2020 from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Tommy Marvin will give his eulogy. Place of rest will be in the Waynick Cemetery.

Mr. Fleet, age 89, of Charlotte, TN died peacefully April 23, 2020 at NHC in Dickson after a short stay.

He was born in Sylvia, Tennessee April 7, 1931. He was the son of the late Daniel Morris and Margaret Adell Waynick Fleet. He worked as a machine operator and supervisor for the former Werthan Packaging in Nashville.  He attended First Baptist Church of Dickson.

Mr. Fleet loved music, playing his guitar and at one time playing the bass fiddle and even writing songs.  He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He was married to the former Mary Lee Daniel for 68 years and 4 months. He was preceded in death by his sister, Flossie Mae Young Hancock, his brothers, Fred L. Fleet, Armon M. Fleet, Donald Eugene Fleet, great grandson, Sean McBroom

Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee Daniel Fleet, his two children, Carolyn Hayes Brewer (Greg) and Vernon Fleet (Sandra), his brother, Raymond Fleet (Alberta), his five grandchildren, Michelle McBroom (Ricky), Elizabeth Robinette (Bryce), Melodie Atchley (Adam) Zachary Fleet and Vernon L. Fleet, his five step grandchildren, Branden Brewer, Michelle Centner (Bobby,) Johnny Tidwell, Luke Wayman and Amanda Wayman, his five great grandchildren, Courtney Brandon, Spencer Raline, Abby Raline, Alexander Atchley and Andrew Atchley; five step great-granchildren, Andrea Dillinger, Ricky McBroom, Cory McBroom, Bowie Centner, and Malachi Robinette; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.
