 Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon, October 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Pastor Randy Ramey will be the eulogist. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens. There will be a public viewing on Wednesday (without family presence) from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Thursday until service time. 

Willisa “Lisa” Brand-Vaughn of Dickson, TN passed away at the age of 51, on Thursday, October 8, 2020.  She was born February 3, 1969, in Nashville, TN to Maureen Corlew-Brand and the late Willie Curtis Brand. Lisa graduated from Whites Creek High School with the class of 1987. She married the love of her life, Tommy Vaughn, on March 27, 2020 and together they had three beautiful children. She was a dedicated employee at Walmart for 30 years. Lisa loved the Lord, her family, church family, and friends. She was a member of New Day Church and devoted her time to being vice president of the Pastor’s Aide Committee and dancing with the mime team. She enjoyed working puzzles, spending time with her family, and spoiling her grandson, Mehki. Lisa served as the bond to keep her family and church connected, and she always thought of others before herself. She will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, Willie Curtis Brand; brothers, Zachary Collier and Steven Brand; and daughter, D’Aundria Brand.

She is survived by her mother, Maureen Corlew-Brand of Charlotte, TN; husband, Tommy Wayne Vaughn; daughter, DeLisa Vaughn; son, Wayne Vaughn; and grandson, Mehki Vaughn all of Dickson, TN; brothers, Stanley (Traci) Corlew, Anthony (Alisha) Brand; sisters, Sheila (Ronnie)  Arnell and Wendy Seals of San Diego, CA,  devoted friend-cousin, Aretha Ramey; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
