 Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, October 24, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of the Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Place of rest will be in the Dickson County Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Lee, age 78, of Charlotte, TN died suddenly on his farm while working his hay, Tuesday, October 20, 2020.

He was born in Sylvia, Tennessee, son of the late Herman and Birdie Edwards Lee.   He was also preceded in death by ten of his fourteen brothers and sisters, Jesse Lee, Robert Lee, W.A. Lee, Virginia Outlaw, Jenetta Farley, Corene Osborn, Earlene Daniel, Billie Cohoon, Lucille Young and Stacey Lee.

Mr. Lee was a hard worker and has worked starting in his early teens. For many years he worked all kinds of construction work and the last nine and half years of his working career he worked with the Dickson County Highway Department.  His first love and his passion was farming and tending to the land.

As described, he was a straight shooter, like it or not, one would always know what he was thinking. He loved the out of doors and all that it offered. Mr. Lee loved fishing, bird hunting. He had a fantastic sense of humor, was a great story-teller and he loved telling jokes. Over the years he developed a love of the holidays, and learning to cook and enjoying it!

He is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Nancy Sensing Lee of Charlotte, TN, his daughter, Sherry Sullivan and her husband, Jason of Charlotte, TN, his two sons, Brent Lee and Darryl Lee both of Dickson, TN, his three grandsons, Austin Lee, Evan Lee and Luke Lee, his brother, Donnie Lee of Ypsilanti, MI, and his sisters, Jane Paschall of Ypsilanti, MI, Norma Sherill of Dickson, TN and Barbara Weems of Arkansas
