         Funeral services for William Harville “Dukey” Dile, Sr., age 73 of Lyles will begin at 1 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2020 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Bro. Kenny Stone officiating.  Interment will follow in Willow Springs Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Monday from 11 a.m. until time of service.  Mr. Dile died suddenly, November 6, 2020 at his home.  His pallbearers are Ryan Dile, Cody Dile (Chelsea), Alex Dile, Micah Dile, Seth Dile, Mason Dile, Rylan Dile, and Landon Dile.

     Born in Hickman County, “Dukey” was the son of the late Joe Harville and Lou Bernice Chandler Dile.  Dukey worked in marine upholstery for the former Winner Boats, Custom Marine, and Ebbtide Boats.  He loved his family and especially his grandkids and great-grandkids.  Dukey collected scale-model cars and he loved tinkering with, repairing, and refurbishing lawn mowers.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.  He was predeceased by a son, Terry Dile; his brothers, Buddy Dile, Billy Joe Dile, and Charles Dile, and by a sister, Joyce Dile. 

     Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years, Ruby Grimes Dile, Lyles; two sons, William Dile, Jr. and Barry Dile, both of Lyles; a brother, Roger Dile, Nashville; seven grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
