Passed away December 13, 2020.  She was born on September 4, 1931 in Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee, the only child of Robert Ward Neblett and Kathleen Boyte. She is survived by her husband, Dan Beasley Andrews; sons, Dan Beasley Andrews, Jr. (Sherry) and William Mark Lyle Andrews; grandchildren, Sarah Andrews Benton (Clark) and Margaret Blakely Andrews; and her great grandson, William Clark Benton. She was preceded in death by her son, Ward Neblett Andrews.

After her high school graduation from Sullins in Bristol, Tennessee, she attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and later transferred to The University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she graduated in 1953.  While there, she became a member of Alpha Omicron Pi to which she enjoyed contributing over the years and began a path that her granddaughters proudly followed.

She worked as a Librarian at Dickson Junior High School for many years and continued to be an avid reader and book reviewer for various book clubs. She served on the Foster Care Review Board of Dickson County and gave much of her time to support various churches in both Dickson and Nashville.

She was full of spirit and had a zest for life. She especially enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, soaking up the sun at the beach, gardening and flower arranging and most of all walking, and loving each dog that became part of the family. Her favorite charities were The Humane Association and The Pet Community.

In lieu of flowers the family requests a memorial donation to any of the following: The Humane Association, 213 Oceola Avenue, Nashville, TN  37209; The Pet Community, petcommunitycenter.org; or New Day Church, 1051 Glendale Drive, Dickson, Tennessee 37055 in memory of her son Ward Neblett Andrews.

There will be a private, family only graveside service in Dickson, Tennessee.
