         Funeral services for David Eugene Christlieb age 76 of Bon Aqua, TN will begin at 12 noon Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Father Justin Raines officiating.  Interment will follow in the Martin Cemetery in Bon Aqua.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.  Mr. Christlieb passed from this life to his eternal rest on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at St. Thomas West in Nashville.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.  

     He was born on May 5, 1944 in Fargo, ND to Clarence and Elizabeth Jesienowski Christlieb.  He graduated from Park Rapids High School in Minnesota on May 29, 1963.  He enlisted in the U S Navy on January 4, 1965.  He worked as an aircraft sheet metal assembler, earned rank of E4 and was honorably discharged on December 9, 1968.  He married Glenda Gayle Pair in Martin, TN on February 19, 1966.  They raised their three children, Shawn, Michelle, and Charles residing predominately in Bon Aqua, TN.  He was employed at Kroger Co. for 30 years, worked for Frito-Lay approximately 12 years, then retiring to care for his loving wife, Glenda. 

     David enjoyed playing hockey, golf, and tennis during his younger years.  He spent several years coaching softball during summer leagues when his daughter Michelle played.  He also enjoyed playing cards with friends and family.

     David leaves behind his three children, Shawn Christlieb (Kristy) of Centerville, TN; Michelle Ladd (Steve) of Union City, TN, and Charles Christlieb of Bon Aqua; five grandchildren, Brittany Edwards (Travis), Dickson TN, Shelby Quinn (Cody), Troy, TN, Courtney Cartwright (Brady), Centerville, Brady Ladd, Union City, and Andrew Christlieb, Centerville; three great grandchildren, Bryer Quinn, Blayden Edwards, and Oliver Quinn; three brothers, Larry Christlieb and Richard Christlieb of Apache Junction, AZ and Steve Christlieb of Bemidji, MN.  He was preceded by his parents; his wife, Glenda, and his brothers, Melvin, Harold, Ralph, and Robert.
