Mary Louise Lanier

Funeral services will be Saturday April 3, 2021 at 1 PM from the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Devin Pickard officiating. Place of rest will be in the Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Friday April 2nd from 4 to 8 PM.
Mary Louise Lanier, age 71 of Lyles, TN died Tuesday March 30, 2021. Born in Dickson County she was the daughter of the late J.C. Lanier and Lucille Semore Cathey. Mary was also the granddaughter of the late Adron and Annie Lee Petty Semore owners of the former Dickson Bakery. She was a 30 plus year retired Transcriptionist in Medical Records at Horizon Medical Center and helped at the Bakery decorating cakes. Mary never let her disability hold her back and was very independent. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her son, Derrick Hafner (Crystal) of Lyles, TN; sisters, Nancy Lanier of Dickson, TN, Cathey Bailey of Alabama, Janice Robertson of Dickson, TN; 2 grandchildren, Elijah and Emma Hafner.
