Graveside services will be held on Wednesday June 16, 2021 at 11 AM at Union Cemetery with Tommy Marvin officiating. Those desiring memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Mrs. Shirley Marie Lankford Roth, age 85 of Dickson, TN passed away Saturday June 12, 2021. Born in Dickson, TN she was the daughter of the late Jasper Wade Lankford and Mary Catherine Petty Lankford. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Hayden Roth; daughter, Sherry Dale Roth; her brother, Ray Lankford. Shirley, along with her husband Hayden, were the founders of Scottish Shield Liquors, where they worked together for over 40 years. In prior years, she loved to spend her spare time on the golf course with her husband, family and friends. Her greatest love was her family. There wasn’t anything she loved better than when her family was all together.

Survived by her son, Randy Roth & his wife Cheryl of Dickson, TN; her two daughters, Tonia Ellis of Nashville, TN, Sheila Street & her husband Ralph of Dickson, TN; her sister, Marianne Lankford of Dickson, TN; her sisters-in-law, Nancy Clements & her husband of Terry of Nashville, TN, Elizabeth Lankford of Dickson, TN; her grandchildren, Stephanie Beard & her husband Tommy, Jennifer Baer & her husband Bobby, Sheryl Burnett & her husband Ben, Elle Roth, and Heather Ramsey & her husband John; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
