 A public memorial visitation for Leona Myatt McAdams Flowers will be held from 4-8 p.m.at Taylor Funeral Home on Thursday, July 8, 2021.  The burial of her ashes at Dickson County Memorial Gardens will be scheduled for the family at a later date.

Born in Dickson County, Leona was a daughter of the late Clarence and Mae Brown Myatt.  She retired as an operator for BellSouth.  Later she worked in the restaurant businesses of L & W Restaurant, Eye-40 Motel Restaurant, and as restaurant hostess at the former Holiday Inn in Dickson.  Above all, she loved and provided for her family.  She was a member of Brown’s Chapel Church of Christ and in later years, she attended Burns Church of Christ.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by both her husbands, Walter McAdams and Jesse Flowers; and by a daughter, Linda Ahern.

Survivors include her three sons, Don McAdams (Melody), Tim McAdams (Darlene), all of Dickson, and Gary McAdams, Burns; two daughters, Sandra Brock and Debra Cox, both of Burns; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
